Potluck & Social, Fellowship
Monthly Potluck and Social - Open Mic - Show 'n Tell About Summer Travels

We will have an open mic night and allow our traveling members the opportunity to share their summer travels with us. Hopefully we will have several who want to share their tales with us?! Invite your friends to join us. We may also play the "Get to Know Me" game once again and we will have some FREE Raffle items to choose from (Brown Bag Items = {XXXXX rated} and White Envelope Items = {entries into huge $$$$$ raffle} MEMBERS ONLY.)
For more info, please contact Thom 305-6976. Dinner will be served at 7PM, please come early enough.

Please bring appropriate main course dishes and or side dishes enough to share with 8 peeps, appetizers, meats, casseroles, salads, vegetables and desserts, NOTE: breads are NOT very popular unless made into delicious sandwiches! A birthday cake will be provided. Do not bring serving utensils, we have plenty.

As established for all MSN potlucks/dinners, there is a participation Fee* of $3 with a dish or $5 without.

Beverages, eating wear and serving utensils are provided.

* The Participation Fees of $3.00 with dish and $5.00 without dish was instituted in order to keep annual dues at the current $15.00 rate.

The gate will be open at about 5PM for early arrivals and those that would like to help me set up for the evening. I would remind everyone, once entering the east gate, PLEASE CLOSE IT, we do not use the South Gate. Dinner will be placed on the table promptly at 7PM. Desserts should be on the table about 7:30 or so - after desserts, we will proceed with the other events of the evening. Hopefully some volunteers will hang in to help with the "clean, reset and vacate" process!!!

Please, summer is back, care needs to be taken with keeping foods at proper temperatures, especially cold foods. When arriving at the hall, all foods must be "ready to serve", the Kitchen Krew has asked that I remind everyone that we can only keep your food cold or warmed in the ovens - we can not permit cooking the food in the church kitchen, it is against church policy to use the ovens or stoves to cook. (NOTE: This does not include preparing and mixing salads as long as the "mess" is cleaned up after preparation.) The Kitchen Krew tries very hard to keep the kitchen in an orderly manner just as it is found when they arrive and accept the responsibility, please be considerate.

Our Monthly Pot Lucks and Socials are usually planned for a Member Guest Host to lead the event with Open Theme either chosen by the guest host or otherwise regularly planned. If you would like to Guest Host a month or you have a special Theme you would like to present, such as a birthday party or anniversary party for your special someone OR any other creative idea that would interest "the gang" - please contact Thom at 305-6976 or email him at and we can reserve the calendar and plan the event.
