Was I Naughty or Nice?? What is it all about?? Be prepared to talk about whether Santa decided you were naughty or nice or just tell us how you spent your holidays!!!  
We will have the brown bag raffle - one free ticket for all attending and additional tickets Four for $1 or 25 cents each.  Please bring small bills, big bills are sometimes hard to change.
Of course don't forget to bring your regular favorite dish to share with at least 8 others along with the request Participation Fee of $3.00 per person if bringing a dish OR $5.00 per person if coming empty handed! 
There will be the regular soda venue. Birthday cake is provided at all of our potlucks.  Please don't bring serving utensils, we have plenty.  Also, if bringing a whole chicken, or roast or meat loaf, please be prepared to cut it into serving size when you bring it into the kitchen.  Our Kitchen Krew doesn't have time to cut the meat up prior to serving!!!

NOTE:  Our Monthly Pot Lucks and Socials are usually planned for a Member Guest Host to lead the event with Open Theme either chosen by the guest host or otherwise regularly planned. If you would like to Guest Host a month or you have a special Theme you would like to present, such as a birthday party or anniversary party for your special someone OR any other creative idea that would interest "the gang" - please contact Thom at 305-6976 or email him at msn.communicator@gmail.com and we can reserve the calendar and help plan the event if help is needed.


Recurring Events On

Saturdays

Held on the FIRST Saturday of every month with a few EXCEPTIONS:  When there is a conflict of events during the year.  If the church has a priority booking or there is a community event that is happening.  Usually plan on SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER to be HELD ON THE 2ND SATURDAY.

Location - check the online Calendar of Events, locations may vary month to month but generally it is held at the Casas Adobes Congregational UCC at 6801 N. Oracle between Orange Grove and Ina.

If any member would care to host the event with a special program that would be of interest to the membership, (i.e. a special birthday or anniversary or entertainment, guest speaker or ? program) please contact Thom to plan the event details. 

In the mean time at every potluck -- plan your best dish (enough to serve at least 8 peeps); main course; sides; salads; desserts all always welcome. Bring a dish and a participation fee of $3.00 each or if not bringing a dish please expect to pay $5.00 each as a participation fee.  NOTE:  Participation fees are designed to help keep our dues at their current low annual fee.

The rules are brutal, but the rewards are worth it in this card game that works a bit like Scrabble.

NOTE:  Our annual dues are $15.00 per member (that is $1.25 a month).  A prospective member or non-member may attend any of our scheduled events (a maximum of 3 per calendar year) without paying dues but we are in the membership service business, not the freeloader accommodations business!!!
