RE:  MSN 19^th Anniversary Dinner/Social

Dear Thom,

Please read the following to the MSN celebration this Saturday.

“Dear Friends,

I congratulate you and celebrate with you your nineteenth anniversary as the Men’s Social Network.  I can remember Rev. David Smith talking about your group when I first arrived in Tucson in the late 1990s, which means that it has been our honor and pleasure to host you for more than half of the organization’s life!  My dealings these past three-and-a-half years with Thom has convinced me that you have in him an able and generous leader and my personal thanks go out to him for his gentle ways and compassionate spirit.

While my schedule did not permit me to be with you on this night, please know that my prayers and the good wishes of all of Casas Adobes Congregational Church are with you tonight and for all the days and nights to come.

I will close with the words we use at the opening of every worship service here: ‘No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here.’ 

That applies no matter what the Arizona Legislature says!
